LOOKING FOR A DRESS AND STYLE....

ohhhhh the dress! What a head ache! I asked a friend of mine to help me with it, as she is a fashion mogul in KL, her name is Jolene and she has a couple of shops around KL. So, with her help, which it's under construction now, we'll get there. Only one thing I know... I DON'T WANT A "WEDDING" kinda princess DRESS!
So, i started looking for ideas in Google... White dresses.. Images... TA DA! Hundreds of pictures, but none of them gave me that feeling. ( You guys will excuse me, but, as you know, i can't show my wedding dress... i'll not show either the dresses that look closer to what i'm looking for. That'll happen only after the wedding!! ^^ )
As you all know, ( and that is not a secret at all ) I'm not the "girly" kind of woman, very chill, ( or that's what i think) and a little bit boyish. But, i still want to take MrW's breath away when he sees me walking down the aisle.
I'll show you tho, some beautiful pictures I found in Google that gave me that sensation of, what i want, the boho style, none princess, but, def beautiful, sexy, playful, and very feminine.
Enjoy then, this images from Google!

Super romantic and simple

Drama queen!!!!

How beautiful is this dress?? DREAMY!!!

Greek goddess! Magical, feminine, beautiful!

And so, this were the first dresses styles that started inspiring me, and showing me the way to go.

I have one question.... If you get married by the beach, will you were flats, sandals or go barefoot???

AND SO, THE JOURNEY BEGINS!

So, the journey begins! Christmas eve and he went down on one knee... My family was there, but, he did privately proposed before. Even thou, I got more emotional on the "public proposal" than the private, my dad crying, my mom crying, my brother filming... ( just for a change! )
Anyhow, we started planning this roller coaster after 2 days. First option was to get married in Colombia... I really liked the idea, but sadly, the "wedding planners" took a very long time to reply to our enquiries, so it was not the first option anymore. Second option, Cyprus, as my fiance's family lives there. But thinking about my family's visas to get there... ( we are Colombians, and that, sadly, makes it all a little bit more complicated.)
So, finally, we talked over, and as we always wanted a beach wedding, Samui was the winner.
So, contacted a few wedding planners, sadly, the one we liked the most, couldn't be there on the wedding day, so, for us was a total no-no!
MrW started looking for places and we decided to do it our way. A not complicated ceremony, very laid back and very romantic. Maybe with a boho touch and lots of fun.
I'm a singer, so, hopefully my musician friends can join us... We still have 7 months to go, and plenty stuff to do.
